Madhusudan Government Industrial Training Institute is located at a distance of 1 km from Manguli on National Highway No. 5. It is adjacent to the largest city of Odisha, Cuttack The primary spoken language here is Odia.

In 1970, the State Government set up the first Tailoring Institute at Bhubanananda School Campus, Cuttack. It was later renamed as Madhusudan ITI in 2009. In 2020, Madhusudan ITI was shifted from BOSE campus to a new location in Gandhichak, Choudwar.
With the advent of globalization and the opening of the Indian economy to the outside world, producing a skilled workforce has become imperative for the healthy growth of the industry to compete with the global market.
